01Orders & confirmation
Sending an enquiry, message or reference image does not constitute a confirmed order. An order is confirmed only once the details are finalised, the price is accepted, the required advance payment is received, and we issue a confirmation. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, with a refund of amounts paid for the declined order.
02Pricing & payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and, where applicable, are subject to taxes including GST. Prices for customised items are confirmed in a quotation before the order is placed. Customised cakes, hampers and bulk orders generally require an advance payment of [XX]%, with the balance payable [before delivery / on delivery]. Payments are processed through secure third-party gateways.
03Customised orders
Every item is individually handcrafted. Where you provide a reference image, we will follow the chosen theme and design as closely as practical; minor variations in colour, placement, finishing and handmade decorative elements may occur and are not considered defects. Please provide exact names, wording and personalisation details when confirming your order, as we are not liable for errors in details supplied by you.
04Cancellations, changes & refunds
As our products are freshly made and often customised, cancellation and refund rights are limited:
- Minor changes may be accepted only if production has not begun.
- Changes to size, flavour, design, quantity, date or packaging may involve revised pricing or may not be possible close to the delivery date.
- Customised orders cancelled after production or after ingredients, toppers and packaging have been committed may not be eligible for a refund.
- Any approved refund will be processed to the original payment method within [X] business days.

05Delivery & pickup
Orders may be collected from The Baked at Club Botanika at the confirmed pickup time, or delivered subject to destination, order value and delivery-partner availability. Delivery charges may apply and are confirmed at the time of order. You must ensure that someone is present at the delivery address and reachable by phone; additional waiting time, repeat delivery or address changes may incur extra charges. Cakes must be transported and kept on a flat, stable, cool surface; we are not liable for damage after handover caused by improper transport or storage. Delivery area: [state your radius/zones].
06Allergens & food information
Our products may contain or come into contact with wheat, gluten, milk, eggs, nuts, soya, seeds and other allergens. While we can omit certain visible ingredients on request, our kitchen handles allergens and we cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces. Customers with allergies or dietary sensitivities must inform us before ordering and accept responsibility for confirming suitability.
07Storage & consumption
Our products are perishable and are best consumed fresh. Please follow the storage guidance provided (for example, refrigerating cream cakes and keeping cookies and baklava airtight). Some cakes include non-edible elements such as support sticks, wires, toppers or acrylic pieces, which must be removed before serving. We are not liable for issues arising from improper storage, handling or consumption after handover.
08Product images & availability
Images on our website and social media are representative; actual products may vary in appearance. Product availability, flavours and packaging sizes may change without notice.
09Corporate & bulk orders
Corporate and bulk orders are subject to minimum quantities, lead times and advance confirmation. To raise a GST invoice, please provide your organisation’s legal name, billing address and GST details when confirming the order. Branding elements are subject to packaging, quantity and preparation time.
10Intellectual property
All content on this website — including the name, logo, text, images and designs of The Baked — is our property or that of our licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our written permission.
11Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
12Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [Hyderabad, Telangana].
