Do you make customised cakes?

Will my cake look exactly like the reference image?
Every cake is individually handcrafted. We follow the chosen theme and design as closely as practical, but minor variations in colour, placement, finishing and handmade decorative elements may occur.
Can a name or personal message be added?
Yes. Names, ages, short messages and occasion greetings can be added to most cakes. Please provide the exact spelling and wording while confirming the order.
How early should I order a customised cake?
- Standard celebration cakes: 24–48 hours in advance
- Theme or fondant cakes: 3–5 days in advance
- Large or highly detailed cakes: 5–7 days in advance
Urgent orders may be accepted depending on production availability and design complexity.
Do you offer same-day cakes?
Selected standard cakes may be available on the same day. Customisation, flavours, size and decoration depend on what can be prepared within the available time.
What cake sizes are available?
Sizes are offered by weight and serving requirement. Our team can recommend the right size after understanding your guest count, the type of celebration, whether the cake is the main dessert, and the design required.

Yes. Tiered cakes can be prepared for larger birthdays, engagements and anniversaries. Advance notice is required, as the structure, decoration and transport need additional planning.
Can I order cupcakes or matching desserts with the cake?
Matching cupcakes, brownies, cookies, pastries or dessert portions may be prepared as part of a coordinated celebration order, subject to quantity and advance notice.
What cake flavours are available?
Availability may vary, but options include popular chocolate, vanilla, fruit, nut and speciality combinations. Our team will share the current flavour menu when you place your order.
Are eggless cakes available?
Eggless cakes may be prepared in selected flavours. Please mention the eggless requirement while enquiring and reconfirm it before payment.
Can you prepare cakes without nuts?
Some cakes can be made without nuts as a visible ingredient. However, our kitchen handles nuts and other allergens, so a complete absence of traces cannot be guaranteed.
Do your products contain common allergens?

Do you offer sugar-free, gluten-free or vegan cakes?

When is an order considered confirmed?
Only after product details are finalised, the price is accepted, the required advance payment is received, and confirmation is issued by The Baked. Sending an enquiry or reference picture alone does not confirm the order.
Is advance payment required?
Customised cakes, hampers and bulk orders generally require advance payment. The amount is communicated when the quotation is shared.
Can I change my order after confirmation?
Minor changes may be accepted if production has not begun. Changes to size, flavour, design, quantity, delivery date or packaging may involve revised pricing, or may not be possible close to the scheduled date.
Can customised orders be cancelled?
Customised products are prepared specifically for each customer. Cancellation and refund eligibility depend on how close the request is to the delivery date and whether ingredients, toppers, packaging or production work have already been committed.
Can I collect my order?
Yes. Orders can be collected from The Baked at Club Botanika, Gachibowli, at the confirmed pickup time.
Is home delivery available?
Delivery may be arranged depending on the destination, order value, product type and delivery-partner availability. Additional charges may apply.
Are cakes safe to transport?
Cakes are packed carefully, but they must be transported on a flat, stable and air-conditioned surface. Do not place on a tilted car seat, hold for long periods, or expose to direct sunlight.
Can large and tiered cakes be delivered?
Large, sculpted or tiered cakes require special handling. Delivery feasibility and charges are confirmed after reviewing the design and location.
What if the recipient is unavailable?
Please ensure someone is present at the location and reachable by phone. Additional waiting time, repeat delivery or address changes may involve extra charges.
How should I store my cake?
Cream cakes and most celebration cakes should be refrigerated. Keep the cake in its box and away from foods with strong odours.
When should I remove the cake from the refrigerator?
Depending on the weather and type of cake, remove it roughly 20–30 minutes before serving. In Hyderabad’s warmer weather, avoid leaving cream cakes out for extended periods.
How should cookies and biscuits be stored?
Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container, away from moisture, direct sunlight and strong-smelling food.
How should baklava be stored?
Keep baklava in a cool, dry place in its original airtight packaging, unless the label or team advises otherwise.
Are all decorations on customised cakes edible?
Not necessarily. Cakes may include support sticks, wires, printed toppers, acrylic elements or structural pieces. Please remove all non-edible elements before cutting and serving.
Does The Baked accept bulk orders?
Yes. Bulk orders can be prepared for companies, institutions, events, conferences, celebrations and hospitality requirements.

For bulk snack boxes, customised packaging and corporate hampers, early confirmation is advisable. Lead time depends on quantity, packaging, branding and delivery coordination.
